Beach Fun this Summer
Make the most of the seaside this summer and get down to the beach! Brighton Sand Sculpture Festival is on until 30 September at Black Rock, near Brighton Marina. This year the theme is “Around the World” so you can explore all 7 continents, some of the most famous landmarks and an array of the planets creatures, all through the medium of sand.
Don't miss the mega Sandcastle Competition on Littlehampton seafront. Entry is free so time to get your creative cap on to impress the judges for your chance to win!
Enjoy Funshine Days along Bognor Regis seafront, Monday-Friday between 28 July and 22 August. Various fun activities will be available for children on the promenade and beach, all being free!

For something a bit different take a trip to Herstmonceux Castle on 17 August as London Contemporary Theatre presents Treasure Island 'A Swashbuckling Musical'. Based on the book of young Jim and Long John Silver be entertained with songs, dancing and interactive fun. Plus prizes for the best dressed pirate!
Have a Tuesday Treat at Eastbourne Bandstand with Kids Party Nights throughout the summer holidays. With 3 different acts playing alternative weeks and music from the charts plus some family favourites you won't want to miss out.
For 2 weeks in August (8th-24th) Churchill Sqaure, Brighton is on a mission to get everyone reading with the Big Summer Read. With visits from children's authors, story telling sessions, reading workshops, games, a whole host of lovable characters for you to meet and a book exchange and library corner there is plenty on offer to inspire reading this summer.
