There is plenty of fun to be had in the water off the Sussex coastline. From windsurfing to adventure boat trips in the national park, it time to get your feet wet.

1. Adventure Boat Trip to Beachy Head
Feel the breeze with a high speed ride to the iconic lighthouse and enjoy views of the spectacular Seven Sisters chalk cliffs in the South Downs National Park.
2. Learn to Kitesurf
Many resorts offer windsurfing tuition including Spray Watersports Centre in Eastbourne or get a gentle start in Hove Lagoon, however for kite surfing Camber Sands is a must and includes its own kitesurfing and kiteboarding school.

Take the ferry from Littlehampton to the amazing West Beach for unspoilt sand dunes, teaming with wildlife and rare plants.
5. Scuba Dive
The Sussex coastline features many an old ship wreck and is great for diving, with Newhaven being a popular spot to discover hidden wrecks. Padi courses are available from Newhaven Scuba Centre.
6. Take a Tyro Lifeguard Course
Great for kids, this fun 3 hour course which runs during the school holidays in Eastbourne offers kids the chance to learn lifeguarding skills which will keep them safe while playing in the sea. Advanced stages include paddleboard and rescue training and children must be able to swim 100 metres unaided.
